Description of SLES

The full name of SLES is Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate. It is an anionic surfactant, prepared by the addition reaction of lauryl alcohol, followed by sulfation and neutralization.As a core raw material, it is widely used in daily chemical, detergent, textile and other industries.

SLES is white to yellow paste,and a kind of anionic surfactant with excellent performance. It has good cleaning, emulsifying, wetting,densifying and foaming performance, with good solvency, wide compatibility, strong resistance to hard water, high biodegradation, and low irritation to skinand eye.

Applications of SLES

Its main applications are as follows:

·  Daily Chemical Cleaning Products: Shampoo, body wash, hand sanitizer, facial cleanser
