Aluminium hydroxide
Aluminium hydroxide, chemical formula Al(OH)3, is the hydroxide of aluminum.Aluminum hydroxide can react with acid to form salt and water and can react withstrong bases to form salt and water, so it is also an amphoteric hydroxide. Because itis also acidic, it can also be called aluminic acid (H3A103). However, the actual reac-tion with the base forms a tetrahydroxy aluminate ([Al(OH)4]-). Therefore, it is usuallyregarded as a monohydrate metaaluminic acid (HAlO2·H20).
