Potassium chloride is an inorganic compound, the chemical formula KCl, looks like salt, odorless, salty. It is often used as an additive for low sodium salt and mineral water. Appearance and properties: white crystal, taste very salty, odorless and non-toxic. Soluble in water and glycerin, slightly soluble in alcohol, insoluble in ether and hydrochlori acid. Application

1. Mainly used in inorganic industry, it is the basic raw material for manufacturing various potassium salts or bases such as potassium hydroxid, potassium sulfate, potassium alum.
2. Dye industry for the production of G salt, reactive dyes.
3. In agriculture, it is a potash fertilizer. Its fertilizer effect is fast, directly applied to farmland, can make the soil moisture rise, has the effect of drought resistance. However, it is not suitable for use in saline-alkali land and crops such as tobacco, sweet potato and sugar beet.
4. Potassium chloride is similar in taste to sodium chloride (bitter) and is also used as an additive to low sodium salts or mineral water.
