Sodium Alginate is a natural, water-soluble polysaccharide derived from brown seaweed (such as Laminaria and Macrocystis). Composed of β-D-mannuronic acid (M) and α-L-guluronic acid (G), it serves as a versatile hydrocolloid with exceptional gelling, thickening, stabilizing, and film-forming properties.
