Product Description

 

Sorbitol is the main photosynthetic product of Rosaceae plants and can be produced by reducing glucose. It is white hygroscopic powder or crystalline powder, flake or particle, odorless. It has a cool sweet taste. Its sweetness is about half of that of sucrose. Its calorific value is similar to that of sucrose. It will not cause dental caries when used as a sweetener. It is slowly absorbed and utilized in the body, and the blood sugar value does not increase.

It can be used as a sweetener, as usual, to make sugar free chewing gum. It is also used as a humectant and excipient for cosmetics and toothpaste, and as a substitute for glycerin. It is also a good humectant and surfactant.

In the production of chewing gum and candy, adding less permission can keep food soft, improve tissue and reduce hardening and sanding. The dosage is about 8%. It is used for water conservation in bread and pastry. The dosage is about 2%. It can be used in sweet food and food to prevent the taste from changing in the logistics process. It can also chelate metal ions. It can be used in canned drinks and wine to prevent the food from being turbid due to metal ions.
