LAB straight chain alkyl benzene is colorless to light yellow transparent liquid. Boiling point 279ºC[at 101 325 Pa], density 0.856[at 20ºC], vapor pressure 1.3Pa at 25ºC, flash point 279°F min., water solubility 41μg/L at 27ºC, LogP7.9 at 25ºC.
Linear Alkyl Benzene is an important anionic surfactant alkylbenzene sulfonic acid upstream raw materials, widely used in washing,
textile auxiliaries, industrial cleaning, printing and dyeing, electroplating, leather and paper industry etc.

Industrial linear alkylbenzene is the main raw material for the production of linear alkylbenzene sulfonate (LAS).
